Florida Springs Diving - The state of Florida has many crystal clear springs and sinks for divers to enjoy.   Travel time from Charleston, SC is around 8 hours for many locations so this is a great weekend venture for divers.  The International Dive Shop has many trips to the Springs available for divers throughout the year.  The 72 degree year round water temperature makes this location ideal for winter diving.  During the cold Winter months manatee are often seen in the springs and especially in Crystal River.  If you are interested in Florida Spring Diving please contact the International Diving Institute Dive shop for additional information.

Word of Caution - Many of these locations are outlets for vast underwater cave and cavern systems.   Sport SCUBA divers should never enter these overhead environments (caves and caverns) without proper training and equipment.  Cave diving is a form of technical diving that requires a much greater investment equipment and training.  If you are interested in pursuing this advanced form of technical diving please contact the dive shop for further information.
