For this reason you can rest assured that you are receiving air which has been tested to breathing air purity standards required for commercial diving operations. International Diving Institute air and systems are tested every 4 months (the industry requirement is every 6 months.

The International Diving Institute Dive Shop is the only retail SCUBA facility in South Carolina which provides certified air to it's customers. IDI keeps a copy of the air certification certificate posted at all times assuring you of our commitment to providing you with clean air. If you are using a source other than IDI you should ask to see their certificate of air purity and question their sampling procedures. Our facility produces literally thousands of cubic feet of clean, pure air each day to make your diving experience a safe and enjoyable one.
