Seeking Instructors

We are seeking qualified full-time instructors with integrity and a strong work ethic. Our school is located in historical Charleston, S.C. on the old Navy Base. We have 350 yards of dock space on the Cooper River. We also have a 20’ orientation tank and we just installed a 30’x10’ tank to be used for confined space dive training. Our working hours are from 0700 to 1700 Monday thru Friday. The maximum number of students per class is ten. We are more concerned with putting out quality rather than quantity. Candidates must have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
• Successful completion of a formal course of training in air/mixed gas surface supplied diving.
• Possess a valid certificate of training.
• Have a minimum of two years full-time practical experience in the field, both inland and offshore.
• Have some experience in training as an instructor or supervisor.
• Be familiar with the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards for commercial divers.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (we can provide this if needed)
